Welcome to FilmDigi ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Stack Service Lab. FilmDigi is a professional mobile photography and film simulation application designed to empower creators to craft, style, and share authentic film emulation recipes.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have complete control over your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, handle, protect, and process information across the FilmDigi mobile application and associated web services.
2. Information We Collect & How It Is Used
We adhere strictly to data minimization principles. We only collect information necessary to provide, maintain, and enhance application features:
A. Personal Information (Account)
- Email Address: Required for account authentication, identity verification, password recovery, and secure sessions via Supabase Auth.
- Display Name: Publicly shown on your creator profile and published recipes in the Community Hub.
- User ID: A unique system-generated identifier used to associate recipes, cloud vault backups, and subscription tiers.
B. User-Generated Content (Recipes)
- Custom Film Recipes: Mathematical parameters, tone curves, color matrices, grain textures, and vignette profiles you create.
- Cloud Vault: Securely backed up to your private cloud storage when enabled.
- Community Hub: Publicly accessible only when you explicitly choose to publish your recipes.
C. Financial & Subscription Info
- Purchase History: Information regarding active subscription tiers (e.g., Pro Standard, Pro Studio) and transaction receipts processed through Google Play In-App Billing.
- Important: We do not store or process payment card numbers or banking credentials. All payment processing is securely managed by Google Play.
D. Device & Performance Data
- Crash Logs & Diagnostics: Anonymous technical telemetry to identify issues and ensure crash-free app reliability.
- Advertising Identifiers: Used by Google Mobile Ads SDK for optional rewarded video ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention.
3. Photos, Transient Queue & Ephemeral Processing Guarantee
Your personal photos and creative work remain strictly your private property:
Local Device Storage: Photographs captured within FilmDigi are saved directly to your device's local camera roll (DCIM/Gallery). We do not automatically back up, sync, or upload your personal photo library to any remote server.
AI Recipe Reverse-Engineering (Transient Queue & Immediate Purge): When you voluntarily submit an image to the AI Recipe Studio to extract color profiles, the image is transmitted securely over an encrypted HTTPS connection. To support reliable asynchronous processing, the image payload is held temporarily within an encrypted, transient processing queue strictly for the duration of the analysis (typically 5–10 seconds). As soon as color parameters and tone curves are extracted, the image data is immediately and irrevocably purged (overwritten to NULL in the database). We maintain a strict zero-permanent-storage policy: your photos are never saved to long-term disk storage, never used for AI model training, and never shared with unauthorized third parties. Any interrupted or timed-out job is automatically purged by our system reaper within minutes.
4. Third-Party Services & SDKs
We collaborate with industry-leading infrastructure providers to deliver safe and reliable features:
- Supabase (Backend Infrastructure): Encrypted PostgreSQL database hosting, row-level security (RLS), and identity management.
- Google Play In-App Purchases: Manages subscription validation, fulfillment, and lifecycle management in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Powers optional rewarded video advertisements allowing users to earn supplementary AI processing credits. AdMob may utilize advertising IDs to combat fraud and monitor ad performance.
5. Data Retention & Permanent Account Deletion
In full compliance with Google Play User Data Policies, we provide comprehensive and straightforward mechanisms for users to permanently delete their account and associated data:
When an account is deleted, all cloud vault backups, marketplace publications, user profile data, and authentication credentials are permanently and irrevocably removed from our servers.
6. Children's Privacy
FilmDigi is directed toward general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not intentionally solicit or collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us and we will promptly delete such records.
